1968 Anilam established in Miami. TTL based Readouts with Nixie tube display. "Affordable" for $3000 per system. Rotary encoder on the ballscrew.  
1972     The End-Less Tape encoder, .0005" accuracy.  
1974   The D-Readout Preset by thumbwheels. The Linear Precision Glass encoder.

1975 Anilam begins to export to Europe.      
1976 Anilam Ltd. was founded in UK.     MDI-200. TTL based NC with memory, programmable at the machine.
1977   The Wizard. Programmable Micro-Processor based Readout with memory, keypad.   The Commando. Micro-Processor based CNC, open loop.
1979     The contaminent protected Precision Glass Encoder. Crusader I & II, M/L. Conversational programmable CNC for up to 3 axes, LED display.

Full Retrofit Kit for knee mills. (The Z-axiz down-feed assembly).
1980   SuperWizard. Sophisticated Readout with internal Memory and external Tape Drive, LED display.    
1982 Anilam was founded in Italy.      
1984       Crusader M (ML), a Dual Processor Design, 9" CRT display.
1986 Anilam begins to export to Asian market.     Crusader G (ML), OEM-style configuration, programmable in G-codes for up to 5 axes and spindle.
1987 Anilam Hong Kong was founded.      
1990   The new SuperWizard, CRT-based Readout for 4 axes with Graphics, memory and external floppy disk drive.   The 1400M, PC-based CNC with conversational G-code programming, color CRT, Hard Drive, integrated CAD/CAM and integrated PLC.
1992   The VDRO series, with Feed-Rate Display, VFD display technology and separate message window.   The 1100M, conversational PC-based CNC, monochrome CRT.
1993       1200T, PC-based OEM style turning control with conversational G-code programming, monochrome CRT.

1100 Commando, the new PC-based Commando.
1994 Anilam joins the Heidenhain group.      
1995 New Headquarters in Miramar.

Anilam Asia moves to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
     
1996     The RBS and RBM Linear Encoders, with Roller-Bearing guided reader-heads.  
1997       3200MK and 3300MK. PC/DSP Dual Processor platform CNC with color CRT and CAN-bus interface for I/O's.
1998 Anilam opens a new office in Taiwan.

Anilam AB, Sweden is formed.
Wizard Line of Readouts with enhanced features, die-cast housing and EverTrackTM The RBS and RBM-T Series with Ever TrackTM The 5000 series CNC for Milling and 4200T for Turning, kit and OEM style PC/DSP based configurations, CAN-bus interface.
 

2000

 

      The 6000 series digital CNC package with AC brushless motors is introduced for Vertical Machining Centers.
2002

Anilam consolidates operations with Acu-Rite

New headquarters in Jamestown, NY 

     
2006   New innovative  readout displays, the Wizard 311 and Wizard 550 (LCD display technology), are introduced to market New SENC 50, ENC 125 and SENC 150 linear encoders are introduced to market  
2009

Acu-Rite Companies Inc. merged with HEIDENHAIN Corporation
